I bought this on Amazon in April 2026 for HDMI capture into the Mac. It’s a USB-C dongle that captures at 4K60 with 4:4:4 color and passes the signal through to a monitor—plug-and-play, no drivers, no configuration.

I use it to capture camera feeds into OBS and route HDMI sources into the Mac. The loop-through means I can monitor the HDMI signal on a separate display while capturing—critical when you’re streaming and need to see what you’re actually sending.
